Students must wear the correct uniform at all times and attend school in PE kit on days when they have practical PE. We have kept compulsory branded items to a minimum, and our online supplier, Price & Buckland, helps keep costs low.
The school holds a limited stock of pre-loved uniform to support families experiencing hardship. Current families should contact their child’s Head of Year. Year 6 families joining the school should contact transition@charterbermondsey.org.uk.
The items below outline the required uniform. Compulsory branded items (from Price & Buckland) are shown in bold. All other items can be purchased from any retailer.

Students should attend school in PE kit on days with practical PE:
Students may wear their blazer over their PE top if they do not have a tracksuit top (removed for lessons).
A plain base layer may be worn under PE kit in colder weather.
If a student does not have the correct PE kit, a replacement will be provided to avoid disruption to learning. An “Incorrect Uniform -1” will be issued. If no kit is brought, the student will be withdrawn from the lesson and receive a 60-minute detention that day.
Please note: uniform is not sold in school. The only item available to purchase on site is the school tie.
Where additional items are required for religious reasons, parents/carers must write to the school. Reasonable adjustments will be made where health and safety is not compromised.
Students should not wear make-up or nail polish. Staff may require students to remove it. This includes:
Non-compliance will result in an “Incorrect Uniform -1”. If unresolved, students may be placed in the Behaviour Support Unit and parents/carers will be informed.
Students must wear plain black leather school shoes. (See guidance images below.)
