In Computing, we build a safe digital community where every student belongs through digital citizenship, collaboration, and kindness online. We empower students to believe in their capability, using technology with integrity and responsibility. Driven by curiosity and an aspirational mindset, students take a scholarly approach to computational thinking and problem-solving. By exploring how technology is created rather than merely consumed, students become innovative, skilled digital leaders ready for the future.
Key Stage 3
Computing is taught in one 55-minute lesson each week. Students explore fundamental computing concepts, develop coding skills and engage with a range of digital tools.
Key Stage 4
In KS4, Computing is taught in three 55-minute lessons per week in Year 10 and two in Year 11. Students deepen their understanding of advanced computing principles and prepare for formal assessments.
