Religious Education provides students with a unique opportunity to learn about people, cultures, faiths, and healthy relationships, fostering tolerance and understanding of diverse beliefs and values. Our curriculum inspires curiosity and encourages exploration of what it means to be human in a civilised society. It promotes deeper understanding and awareness of global challenges while contributing to the spiritual, moral, social, emotional, cultural, and intellectual development of our students.
Through Religious Studies, we prioritize reflection over preaching, allowing students to engage with big questions and understand how faith influences individuals' lives worldwide. This approach fosters critical thinking and encourages students to articulate their viewpoints thoughtfully and respectfully. Our aim is to inspire a lifelong appreciation for the study of religion, paving the way for further exploration at A Level and beyond.

As students progress to Year 9, they will explore contemporary ethical issues through the lens of religious ideas, developing skills in writing and presenting their informed viewpoints while appreciating others' perspectives.
