We believe every child can achieve their full potential. Working together with parents is key to making this happen. Our Parent Pledge sets out what you can expect from us – and how you can support your child’s success.
How We Support Your Child
We regularly assess your child’s progress in all subjects. If we identify that they need extra help to stay on track, we provide targeted support through three waves:
Wave One: Support in Class
- Adapted learning activities to address areas for development.
- Increased feedback and guidance.
- Additional homework and scaffolded worksheets.
- Strategic seating closer to the teacher for better support.
Wave Two: Study Support
If gaps remain after Wave One:
- After-school sessions in the library
- Supported by a teacher and/or mentor.
Wave Three: Academic Interventions
If further support is needed:
- Small group intervention with a subject specialist.
- Personalised academic support during after-school sessions.
- Ongoing feedback during lessons and study sessions.
Your Role as a Parent
We ask parents to join us in upholding our vision and values by:
- Supporting high expectations for learning and behaviour at home.
- Ensuring your child attends school every day and accesses the full curriculum.
- Celebrating positive attitudes and achievements.
- Keeping us informed about any issues that may affect your child’s learning or wellbeing.
Together, we can help every child thrive.
